Ushers Ferry Historic Village is open to the public for scheduled events and programs, depending on the season.
NOVEMBER - MAY (WINTER SEASON)
During the week our buildings are closed, but if private events are not scheduled, you are free to walk around the grounds between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Just call 319-286-5763 or stop at the Visitors' Center first to check. Donations are appreciated and accepted.
JUNE - AUGUST (SUMMER SEASON)
Ushers Ferry Historic Village is open for summer tours Monday - Friday, June 1 - August 31 (closed July 4) from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Wednesdays, through August 25, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The fee is $3.50/Adult and $2/Youth (ages 5-12).
SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER (FALL SEASON)
Fall tour hours are Monday - Friday, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. during the months of September and October. The village is closed on Labor Day.
Ushers Ferry is easily accessible from I-380 by taking the 42nd Street exit (24a) west, past Edgewood Road to Seminole Valley Road. Follow the signs from there.
From Highway 100
Ushers Ferry is accessible from Highway 100 by taking the Edgewood Road exit. Take Edgewood Road south to 42nd Street. Turn right on 42nd Street and follow the signs from there.
