The Parks and Recreation Department maintains all-weather basketball courts, sand volleyball courts (Ellis, Foxtrail and Shaver Parks), two frisbee golf courses (Jones and Shaver Parks), a BMX dirt track (Cheyenne Park), baseball and softball fields, Jones Park Pickleball Courts, Riverside Skate Park, Tuma Sports Complex, Tait Cummins Sports Complex, Veterans Memorial Tennis Center, three municipal golf courses, and a mini golf course.
The full service park season for the availability of restrooms, drinking fountains, pavilion rentals and general day-to-day operating conveniences is April through October, see Parks Operations for specific dates. As spring unfolds, water is turned on in the larger parks first and the smaller parks follow. Park hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
