Volunteer Opportunities
The Friends of Noelridge are a group of volunteers from Cedar Rapids and neighboring communities who assist the greenhouse staff. These volunteers have a wide variety of skills that are matched to a need in the greenhouse or park. Their primary task it to propagate and nurture the 60,000 plants that are found in all of the public spaces in Cedar Rapids. In addition, volunteers provide leadership in many of the educational events that occur at the park and greenhouse. Volunteers lead tours for community organizations and school groups, assist the public during open house events, and help with maintenance and improvements in the gardens.
