CRFD Citizen Academy Applications Due May 14

Want to learn what it's like to be a Cedar Rapids Firefighter? Applications for the 2023 Citizen's Fire Academy are now open until Sunday, May 14th.
The Academy takes place over a five week period, including 15 hours of instruction. The cost of the camp is $50 and participants must be at least 18 years of age.

This is not an application to be a Cedar Rapids Firefighter nor does it affect the likelihood of being hired as a Cedar Rapids Firefighter.
