No Garbage Collection on Labor Day

Cedar Rapids Solid Waste & Recycling will be closed for the Labor Day holiday with no waste collection on Monday, Sept. 5. Garbage, recycling and compost collection will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 6, when residents should have carts to curbs by 7 a.m.
All customers will experience a one-day delay in the collection of their materials for the week of Monday, Sept. 5. For more information, visit the City’s Solid Waste & Recycling webpage at CityofCR.com/Garbage.
