Portions of Sac & Fox Trail to Close for Indian Creek Waterway Cleanup

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – December 10, 2021 – Portions of the Sac & Fox Trail will close beginning Monday, December 13. Contractors will be cleaning up and removing debris and trees damaged in the August 2020 derecho along the Indian Creek waterway. The first section to close is from the Bertram Road railroad bridge (at the confluence of Indian Creek and the Cedar River) to the intersection of the trail with Mount Vernon Road. The length of the closures has not yet been determined.
