Cedar Rapids State of the City Address Now Available Online

The 2021 Cedar Rapids State of the City presented by Mayor Brad Hart is now available on a special State of the City website.

Because of concerns for the pandemic, this year’s State of the City is available virtually, forgoing the annual in-person fundraising luncheon held by the League of Women Voters of Linn County.

“As with everything else in these times of a pandemic, this year’s State of the City address looks different, but I’m excited about this unique opportunity to share with all Cedar Rapids residents important information about our great City,” said Mayor Hart.

The State of the City website features a video message by Mayor Hart and League of Women Voters representative Amy Reasner, as well as photos, information, and updates on a large number of past and upcoming City initiatives and projects.
