Project Phase: Construction
Construction Start: July 2023

Construction Update: May 1, 2024

Construction began in mid-March. Despite cold and rainy weather, work is progressing.

The majority of the roadway pavement and sidewalk has been removed.

New water main is installed between H and J Avenues. New services are installed between H and I Avenues. Crews are now working their way from I Avenue to J Avenue. Residents may experience short disruptions to water service while new services are connected. Crews will knock on your door to let you know when the disruption will occur.

Storm sewer work will begin once water service work is completed. This work will begin at H Avenue and work toward J Avenue.

Traffic Impacts

  • Center Point Road remains closed from north of H Avenue through J Avenue, including the intersection at I Avenue.
  • This area will remain closed for the duration of the project.
