Construction began in mid-March. Despite cold and rainy weather, work is progressing.
The majority of the roadway pavement and sidewalk has been removed.

2023 Improvements
Project Background
This is Phase 2 of a two-phase project. Construction will be complete in late Fall of 2024.
Planned Improvements
This project began construction in mid-summer or 2023. The stretch from Lincoln Avenue to H Avenue was complete in the fall of 2023 and the stretch from H Avenue to J Avenue is expected to be complete in the mid-summer of 2024. Improvements include pavement reconstruction, sidewalk replacement, ADA sidewalk ramps, on-street bike lanes, utilities (water main, storm sewer, sanitary sewer), and conversion of the roadway from one-way to two-way traffic.
