Public Safety Program Manager and SAFE-CR Program Coordinator

The Public Safety Program Manager and the SAFE-CR Program Coordinator are charged with the responsibility of coordinating efforts of all City departments to assist the property owner in abating one or more nuisance conditions at any given property. They work to review nuisance activity occurring in the city, and then notify, coordinate and partner with the property owner to abate the nuisance. We make no recommendation to the property owner as to what steps the property owner takes; we simply provide oversight to ensure that the nuisance condition is corrected. Failure of a property owner to abate the nuisance will result in service delivery fees and could include restrictions from registering and renting property.
 
Background Check Technician
The Background Check Technician coordinates and assists property owners in conducting City provided background checks on tenants 18 years and older who will be living in rental property. Chapter 29 of the City's Municipal Code requires a background check be performed on those 18 years and older who will be living in the rental property unit.
