Paving for Progress
The citizens of Cedar Rapids approved a 1% local option sales tax to fund streets for a ten year period between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2024. It is estimated this tax will generate $200 million over the ten year period. The program to fund streets thru this revenue source has been named Paving for Progress. Below is the history of actual revenue and expenditures to date for Paving for Progress. 
Attached is a listing of expenditures by project since the program began.
