Bever Woods Intensive Historic Survey
An intensive historic survey of the Bever Woods Area is currently underway, funded by a grant from the State Historical Society of Iowa, as recommended in the 2015 Historic Preservation Plan. The purpose of this survey is to evaluate whether the area or properties within the area are eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.

The survey is being conducted by consultants from Wapsi Valley Archaeology, but volunteers are needed to assist with fieldwork and research. If you are interested in participating, please reach out by calling us at 319-286-5041 or emailing hpreview@cedar-rapids.org.
