City Boards and Commissions

Purpose:
The City Council has determined a benefit to coordinating with ConnectCR, Linn County Supervisors, and Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency to support the fundraising and coordinate implementation of the ConnectCR project to ensure the long-term sustainability of the assets that will be owned and maintained by the City into the future.

Areas of Focus:
The City of Cedar Rapids has significant interest in the ConnectCR project, an effort to create bookends to the significant investment and redevelopment along 3rd Street corridor, as a means to encourage the ongoing growth, attraction, and movement between Downtown and the Czech Village/NewBo Districts.
