City Manager’s 1-Bag Challenge Community Event scheduled for Friday, April 19 at Noon
Each year, the City of Cedar Rapids Solid Waste & Recycling division undertakes concentrated efforts to remove litter from City streets, parks, and Interstate 380. This effort is in addition to a variety of annual “spring cleaning” work by multiple City departments to enhance the City Manager’s 1-Bag Challenge program, reducing pollution and improving beauty across our community.Date:04/17/2024

16th Avenue SE Improvements to Begin April 22
The City of Cedar Rapids will begin reconstruction work along 16th Avenue SE on Wednesday, April 22, 2024. Improvements will transform the public right-of-way and improve the road surface. Access to businesses will be maintained throughout construction.Date:04/12/2024
