City Requests Input on Greenway Parks Plan
The City of Cedar Rapids will hold a public open house on Tuesday, October 3, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ellis Clubhouse & Event Center, 1401 Zika Avenue NW, to confirm and update interests and amenities identified in the 2014 Greenway Parks Plan. Community members are invited to provide feedback by attending the open house or completing an online survey available through Thursday, October 12, at www.CityofCR.org/GreenwayPlan.Date:09/28/2023

City Announces Disaster Recovery Rehabilitation Program
Applications for the City of Cedar Rapids’ Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program are now open. The City was awarded $2.5 million through the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) to assist homeowners in Cedar Rapids with remaining Derecho-related repairs.Date:09/27/2023
