The Usher Family Reunion is held at the Ushers Ferry Historic Site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Started in 1985, the reunion is an annual event held in early fall. The 2007 Usher Reunion will be Saturday, August 25th. It starts at 11:00 a.m. in the church followed by a catered lunch. We'd like to invite family and friends to arrive early and have coffee with us at the Visitor's Center starting at 9:00 a.m. For more information about our upcoming 22nd reunion, and how to register, please email your questions or requests to: Dorothy Montgomery.

Do you have a picture of an Usher family member that you can't identify? We would like to post it on a web page so others could assist in making an identification. If you have a something like that, please contact usherfamilyreunion@yahoo.com. Once those pictures are received, we will work on getting a page on this web site where those pictures can be posted.

We have also been asked to help the Usher Ferry Historic Village in obtaining information about how the Dyer Usher farm looked at the turn of the last century. They would like to recreate the landscape around the village. If you have pictures or other information, please contact the village.

There are also some questions about some of the items in the Visitor's Center, particularly the handmade items of Henry Usher. If you have any information, please contact the village. We might post pictures of the items in question on this website.
