About the Iowa Museum Association

As a part of their 2010 fund-raising efforts,

the Iowa Museum Association is proud to present

The Men of the Iowa Museum Association: A Fundraiser for Museum Lovers 2010 Calendar.

Founded in 1976, the not-for-profit Iowa Museum Association's mission is to provide quality training and development to Iowa museum professionals and volunteers, advocate for support of Iowa's museum professionals and volunteers, advocate for support of Iowa museums, and build a strong community of museums in Iowa, all to ensure that Iowa museums are recognized as essential and integral parts of their communities.

Representing 192 cultural organizations across the state, the Iowa Museum Association provides extensive training for people who work in Iowa museums and cultural organizations, helping them better serve their constituents through improved programs and preservation, conservation, and interpretation of Iowa's cultural heritage -- our artifacts, documents, works of art and material culture.
