As the leaves turn their bright autumnal colors you know it is time for All Things Apple at the First Annual Ushers Ferry Historic Village Apple Festival and Craft Show on October 4-5 from 11:00-5:00 PM.  This event was a yearly favorite of many while it was held at Seminole Valley Farm.  As it moves to Ushers Ferry Historic Village we are pleased to continue old traditions and start some brand new ones as well.  Apples will reign supreme in the homes and businesses of Ushers Ferry that weekend.  There will be wood stove cooking demonstrations in every home as well as Apple Cider making and Apple Crafts for the kids.  We’ll have games and apple surprises galore.

Another event that was held at Ushers Ferry for many years was our annual Art and Craft Show.  We are happy to combine that event with the Apple Festival.  Crafters are invited to contact the Village office at 319-286-5763 for more information or simply fill out and send in the attached Registration form.  Spaces are limited so crafters should send in registrations early.

Admission for this special event is $8 per adult  $3 for kids 3-14, 2 and under free.
