Preparing Paper, Metal, and Plastic

Recyclable items made of paper, metal, or plastic may be placed loose inside the CURBY cart.

Preparing Glass

Place clear and colored glass food and juice jars and non-returnable beer, wine, wine cooler, and liquor bottles into a rigid plastic 2 1/2 to 5 gallon bucket or wastebasket.

Please use one container for the clear and one container for the colored glass or set your clear glass out one week and your colored glass out the next week.

Set your glass container beside the CURBY cart. DO NOT place glass in the CURBY cart this can cause injuries to workers.

Remove lids from bottles and jars and place lids in the CURBY cart.

Preparing Corrugated Cardboard

Consolidate smaller boxes and pieces into a larger box. Or, flatten and tie or tape (no duct tape) corrugated cardboard into bundles.

All bundled corrugated cardboard must measure less than 3 feet long by 2 feet in diameter.

Place bundled cardboard beside the CURBY cart or inside the CURBY cart.
