Preparing Your Garbage for Curbside Collection

Place all garbage in either:

• One 35-gallon
  metal or plastic garbage can
  weight limit: 40 lbs
  
  or
  
• One 30-35 gallon
  plastic garbage bag
  weight limit: 40 lbs.
  

Consolidate

Place several small bags into one large container.

Smaller wastebasket liners (13-gallon bags or grocery bags) should be placed together in one, larger garbage can or bag.

Do Not Overfill a Garbage Can

Your garbage must fit within the 35-gallon can and cannot exceed a weight of 40 lbs.

Purchase a sticker for an extra bag of garbage that will not fit into the can or will make it exceed 40 lbs.

Purchase Stickers for Each Additional Garbage Can or Bag

You must purchase one sticker per each additional garbage can or bag.
