Report A City Tree Concern

Please do not submit this form if the tree is not located on City property (usually between the sidewalk and the street). City forestry crews do not evaluate or work on private trees. Property owners are responsible for maintaining trees on private property. If a neighboring private tree is encroaching on your property, please conact an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified arborist for more information on your options for pruning. Tree issues between property owners are a civil matter.

For help determining if a tree is public or private, please refer to maps located on the Linn County GIS website.
