Every year the Iowa Chapter of the American Water Works Association holds a blind taste test to determine which community provides the best tasting water. The entries are judged by a panel of local TV personalities on appearance, odor, taste, after-taste, and ‘feel in the mouth’. This year the panel selected Cedar Rapids as the best tasting water in Iowa!
The other communities entering the contest included: Des Moines, Ames, Keokuk, Marshalltown, Newton and Waterloo.
