When you need to dispose of larger items like appliances or furniture, the Cedar Rapids Solid Waste & Recycling Division can schedule a special pick-up.

There is a fee for this service that will be added to your next utility bill.  The cost for pick-up will vary depending on the size and type of item.

To participate, call 319-286-5897 at least one day prior to your garbage collection day to schedule the collection.
