Energy Management 

The City of Cedar Rapids Energy Management Plan provides the long-term framework for meeting aggressive, yet achievable, energy reduction targets for our city.

The Energy Management Plan has seven goals that will provide City decision makers and the community with a clear direction for their energy management efforts, and will provide intermediate milestones against which progress may be evaluated.

Identifying opportunities for energy efficiency is nearly impossible without the ability to understand where and how energy is used.

Cedar Rapids has already implemented a variety of successful energy efficiency measures throughout the City.

This effort goes beyond the city departments.  Saving energy helps the entire community.
