CABS Info

The Coalition to Augment the Bus Service (CABS) program offers reduced-cost taxi cab rides and NTS (night time) rides for work and personal use when the City Buses are not operating. The program is specifically for persons with disabilities.

How to Apply:

• An application can be obtained by calling Barb Beets, CABS Program Travel Coordinator at (319) 363-1321 x. 3.
  
• An applicant must either be referred by a human service agency or provide valid documentation of the disability.
  
• Each client who is in the program must reapply each year that they are in the program.  The CABS work pass is valid for one year, July 1 – June 30.  In addition, CABS personal passes are also available.  The personal use tickets are valid per month and issued on a quarterly basis.
