The Off-Leash Dog area consists of 13.8 acres of fenced canine recreation yards and is located in Cheyenne Park, 1650 Cedar Bend Lane SW, Ely, IA off of Old River Road SW.

Daily Passes may be purchased at the park just inside the entry gate. Simply fill out an envelope, put the $6.00 daily fee inside, detach the flap and deposit the envelope in the slot of the green honor box. Season passes may be purchased at Animal Control, 2109 N. Towne Lane NE, 319-286-5993.
City ordinance requires dogs to be leashed until entering the off-leash area. Owners are required to clean up after their dogs. Bags are available. Park rules and etiquette are posted on the park kiosk. Amenities include water for owners and dogs and a portable restroom.
