Registering for Parks and Recreation Department programs is easy and discounts are available. View the current Parks and Recreation Programs Guide to see what is currently offered.

Beginning at 5:00 PM on November 9th, you may register for all winter programs.

(Please Note: The Department reserves the right to cancel or consolidate classes depending on registration.)

How to Register

  Now you can not only conveniently view all the classes and schedules, but also sign up for them on our completely automated online system.

  Call (319) 286-5731 weekdays from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Registration by phone is processed on a first come, first serve basis. Space permitting with a credit card only.
  
  
• Fax
  Fax a completed registration form (and the youth waiver if the applicant is less than 18 years old) to (319) 286-5732. Registration by fax is processed on a first come, first serve basis. Space permitting with a credit card only.

  Stop by the Ambroz Recreation Center (2000 Mt. Vernon Rd. SE) weekdays from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and we will process your registration as you wait. Cash, check, Parks and Recreation Department gift certificates, and credit cards accepted.
