Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation

The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department offers a year-round schedule of recreation and leisure activities for all ages and special programs for people with disabilities.

Brochures of activities are available year-round with information on registration and schedules at the Ambroz Center, call (319) 286-5731, or view the latest recreation guide for programs, schedules, and pricing.

Parks & Recreation Commission

The Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Commission acts as an advisory commission to the City and makes studies and recommendations for the enhancement and promotion of parks and recreation activities, facilities, and programs within the City of Cedar Rapids.

The current members of this commission are:
