Repair of Flood Damaged Elevator - Bid #0709-005

Scope of Work:
The Cedar Rapids GTC Parkade Facility took on 24½ inches of floodwater at the ground floor entrance to the parkade.  At the time of the flood, the elevator car was completely immersed in water. The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking a qualified Contractor to replace components for the flood-damaged elevator as described below. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, services, insurance, permits, licenses and equipment necessary to carry out the work in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations and the specifications stated in this document.   All repairs for this project are to be considered permanent repairs, not temporary. A payment and performance bond equal to the bid price of the contract is required within 10 days of award of this contract.
