Automated Traffic Enforcement Program, RFP #1008-113

Scope of Work:
The City intends to enter into a term contract with an Automated Traffic Enforcement Contractor that possesses a demonstrated track record of professionalism, ethics, advancement and financial stability. The Contractor shall have the ability, capital, labor, materials and equipment to provide a net revenue automated digital traffic camera enforcement program. Please be advised that the City is seeking a total turnkey operation with no program expenditures to be incurred by the City. Activities may include, but are not limited to; providing the software, hardware, cameras, poles, wiring, installation, coordination with the City’s Traffic Engineering Division, training, maintenance, reporting and related services, and community awareness and education of issues surrounding “red light violations”. The automated traffic enforcement program will include up to ten (10) intersections with the number of approaches to vary dependant on the intersection, and the potential for further expansion. The digital camera enforcement program shall also include a fully operational turnkey fixed speed enforcement system and a fully operational turnkey mobile speed enforcement system.
