Noelridge Aquatic Center Open Memorial Day Weekend

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – May 16, 2016 – The Cedar Rapids municipal pool swimming season will begin Memorial Day weekend with pre-season swimming at Noelridge Aquatic Center on Saturday, May 28; Sunday, May 29; and Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day). Lap swims will be held from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. each day and open swims from 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Monday. A “kick-off” swim will be held at all outdoor municipal pools on Thursday, June 2 with lap swims from 5:15-6:15 p.m. and open swims from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Regular season swimming begins at all pools on Friday, June 3. The pre-season swimming schedule follows:

Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Summer Swim Passes are available for purchase. Season passes provide admission to Water Exercise classes and Open, Family, Adult and daily Lap Swims as age appropriate. The passes are valid May 22, 2016, through September 5, 2016. Early Bird prices are available if passes are purchased on or before May 21, 2016. Go to CRREC.org for more information on passes and the season dates for each pool.
