Applicants Sought for City Boards & Commissions

Applications are being accepted from Cedar Rapids residents for current and upcoming vacancies on many City of Cedar Rapids boards, commissions and advisory committees. These advisory groups can be valuable community assets and effective partners with the Mayor, the City Council and City staff in guiding the future of our community. The City of Cedar Rapids is committed to gender balance on all boards, commissions and committees. Women, minorities and qualified individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Completed applications may be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office, located in City Hall at 101 First Street SE, or sent by email to boards&commissions@cedar-rapids.org. Applications will be submitted to the Mayor and the City Council for review. All applications are kept on file for one year.
