CRUSH Support Group Meeting to be held on March 1st

The Eastern Iowa Heroin Initiative and CRUSH of Iowa (Community Resources United to Stop Heroin) will be hosting a support group meeting for all of those who are currently recovering from opioid addiction and parents and family members who have lost loved ones from opioid or heroin overdose.  

The meeting will be held at the Mission of Hope, 1700 B Avenue NE, on Wednesday, March 1st from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  This meeting is open to the public for anyone interested in learning more about the current heroin epidemic in our state.  

Please join us for information and to discuss strategies for a community solution. 

 

About the Eastern Iowa Heroin Initiative

The Eastern Iowa Heroin Initiative is a federally-funded program sponsored by the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa.  The Initiative focuses on heroin prevention, prescription pill abuse education, and Community Resources United to Stop Heroin.  The Cedar Rapids Police Department is a partner in this program.
