City of Cedar Rapids

The Cedar Rapids Police Department provides a daily arrest report that includes the individual arrested, arrest date and time, case number, arrest location, and charge.  These reports are updated each day and will only include arrests over the past approximately 24-30 hours.

Once an arrest is made, the complaint is sent to the Linn County's Attorney's Office for review and final determination of applicable charges.  As with any criminal case, a charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
