Fire Station 4
Station 4 can be found next to the Twin Pines Golf course, just beyond the hole #4 green ironically enough. Officially located at 3600 42nd Avenue NE, Engine 4 is a paramedic engine and responds to the AEGON complex.
Fire Station 7 "Pride of the East Side"
Station 7 is the third newest fire station in the city. Built in 1999 to replace the Kenwood station on 1st Avenue, Station 7 houses Ladder 7 (a 75' aerial truck) as well as a reserve Quint. Station 7 was extremely vital in the post 2008 flood operations as it was the only station big enough to house Truck 1 as well as Battalion 1 (formally Car 40). Quint 7 responds to the Lindale Mall as well as some Rockwell Collins facilities. It is located at 206 29th Street NE.
Fire Station 9 "The Island"
Station 9, built in 1986 as part of a bond issue, is located at 415 Broderick Drive NE, just off of C Avenue. Wedged between Hiawatha, Robins and Marion, Station 9 covers the northeastern part of Cedar Rapids as well as the main Rockwell Collins complex.
