Rebuilding Ownership Opportunities Together
The City of Cedar Rapids, in conjunction with the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA), is offering ROOTs, the fourth round of the Single Family New Construction Program, to replace housing units lost as a result of the 2008 flood. The program offers down payment assistance up to 25% of the purchase price of an approved unit to income-qualified applicants.
The program deadline is June 30, 2017. Currently, there are no properties available. Please contact us if you would like to be added to our list of interested applicants, and we will contact you in the event that anything becomes available or any changes are made to the program.
