The Plumbing Board of Appeals hears appeals to interpretations of the Plumbing Code. The Board also considers the use of alternate materials and methods of construction for plumbing work and makes recommendations to the City Council for improving the Plumbing Code.
The Board usually meets three or four times a year for one to two hours. The number of appeals filed will determine meeting frequency.
