The intent of the poster contest is to make students in Cedar Rapids aware of the right to housing, free from discrimination based on:

  • Familial Status 
  • Religion 
  • Association 
  • Gender Identity 
  • Retaliation 
  • Color 
  • Marital Status
  • Sex (Gender) 
  • Creed 
  • National Origin 
  • Sexual Orientation 
  • Disability (Mental & Physical)
  • Race

The competition is for students in grades K-12. Students who participate will compete in three grade categories: K-5, 6-8 or 9-12.
