The Information Technology (IT) Department provides city departments with leadership for the City’s technology infrastructure. This includes information systems, development, telecommunications, geographic information systems (GIS), desktop computing, application access/integration, records management, training and networking operations, and emerging technologies.
The IT Department sets the standards for hardware and software purchases and directs implementation of new technologies and policies. IT manages the communications infrastructure which links all city government buildings for shared email, LAN and telephone communications.
