The City of Cedar Rapids now has two different employment
applications:
If you are applying for a full or part-time (year round)
position or a seasonal position in the Streets or Sewer
Department, please complete the Employment Application form.
You may also submit your electronic employment application to:
hr@cedar-rapids.org
If submitting electronically you must include the last four digits of your social
security number in the space provided and type your full legal name.
Applications may also be delivered to:

Seasonal applications are collected onsite. Please use the Seasonal Application
above. Submit your application directly to the department you are
applying for at the addresses listed on the application.

More Information About the City's Application Process
Pre-employment drug screen required. A post-offer physical/medical screening is required before the City of Cedar Rapids may employ you. If you test positive for drugs or alcohol, a one-year waiting period is necessary before you may reapply.
An application must to be completed for each position. A resume may not substitute for an application. Applications are not kept on file.
