The Cedar Rapids Golf Operations and Parks Operations are seeking qualified individuals for seasonal spring and summer employment.  Hours and days vary.

 Golf Course Cashiers (2 part-time positions available as of 4/14/08)

Experience working with the public, selling merchandise and knowledge of golf rules and terminology preferred.  Experience handling money necessary.  Must be 18 years of age.  10-40 hours per week including weekends and nights.  March through November. 

 Golf Course Seasonal Laborers (2 positions available as of 4/14/08)

Prefer labor, construction, tractor/equipment operations experience, including experience with mowers, tractors, hand and power tools and similar devises.  Will provide labor and maintenance services as part of a crew.  Duties will include mowing, planting, loading and unloading materials and equipment, light maintenance on equipment, cleaning and painting.  Must be 18 years of age.  10-40 hours per week.  March through November.

Parks Seasonal Maintenance (7 positions available as of 4/14/08)

Must be age 18 or older and able to perform a variety of positions including mowing, athletic field maintenance, flower gardens and zoo work. Must have driver’s license. Up to 40 hours per week. Hours and days may vary.
