RELIEF OPERATOR - WATER MAINTENANCE REPAIR WORKER (Full-time)

Responsibilities:	Functions as Relief Operator as assigned to cover for operators who are on vacation or otherwise unavailable. Performs technical maintenance services to sustain a continuing program of water supply, distribution and hydroelectric power production.
Requirements:	Requires three years experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical hydraulic equipment, including two years experience in maintenance and repair of water valves, hydrants, main and service lines and related structures. Successful completion of high school course work in reading and math, preferably supplemented by vocational training in water treatment plant operation. One year experience in the operation of a lime softening water treatment plant or two years experience in the operation of a similar processing facility. Valid Iowa Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with appropriate endorsement to operate sludge hauler. Possession of Grade II Operator Certification.
