Rental Housing Registration

The City’s housing code requires that owners of rental property register their property with the Housing Inspection section within 30 days of transfer of title or possession of such property.

There is a $50 charge per structure or individual condo unit for registering rental property; however, if registration does not happen within the 30-day window then an investigation fee of $50 is added onto the registration charge.
