About the Course:
On July 4, 1962, the first round was played at the newly constructed Twin Pines Golf Course as an 18-hole facility. In June, 1964, the switch was thrown to light the 3,012 yard back nine of Twin Pines and played the first rounds under lights until 1995, when the cost to upgrade was insurmountable.
This convenient setting is just off the interstate and supplies golfers with an enjoyable round of golf on one of the busiest courses in the Midwest. The wide fairways and lush greens have made this one of Iowa's most popular golf course. The course is enjoyed by people of every age and ability. Twin Pines is easy to walk, though a full fleet of carts are available.
Twin Pines Golf Course has been a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary since January 18, 2002.
