Above Ground Storage Tanks for New Oil  This is a permit application for permanent installation of a tank (vessel that can contain 60 gallons or more of liquid) for combustible liquids with a flash point greater than 200 degrees Fahrenheit. This does not include used oil.

Above Ground Storage Tanks for Emergency Generators and Fire Pumps  This is a permit application for businesses or contractors that wish to install generator base tanks, separate tanks or day tanks (vessel that can contain 60 gallons or more of liquid) for emergency equipment. Please note that a permit is also required from the Linn County Health Department.

Temporary Liquefied Petroleum Gas Tank and Associated Piping (Permit TE-LP) This is a permit application for businesses or contractors that wish to install a temporary liquefied petroleum gas tank and associated piping to heat a construction site or area, for example.

Application of Flammable and Combustible Finishes in Spray Booths This application is for the construction and installation of a booth for application of flammable and combustible paint, lacquer, stain, fiberglass resins, or other flammable or combustible liquid applied by means of spray apparatus in continuous or intermittent processes. This also includes application of combustible powders and electrostatic fluidized beds.

Above Ground Storage Tanks for Motor Vehicle Fuel Dispensing Outdoors This application is for the installation of aboveground fuel tanks for motor vehicle fuel dispensing.

Above Ground Storage Tank for Used Oil This application is for the installation of aboveground tanks for storage of used motor oil.PLEASE NOTE: There are several other permit applications that are currently not accessible through our departmental website.
