About the Department
The City of Cedar Rapids Facilities Construction Division is responsible for:
- building maintenance,
- CIP construction,
- major and minor renovation projects,
- interviewing/hiring and coordinating with the architects,
- space planning,
- lease/purchase negotiations,
- construction contracts,
- utilities,
- and building policies for all City buildings.
