PAT SHEY

Councilman Shey is a banker with Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust. A graduate of the University of Iowa and DePaul University College of Law, Pat has served as a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, and practiced law for 15 years, both in private practice and as corporate counsel. In 1999, Pat was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in a special election to replace Ron Corbett. Pat served two terms in the Iowa House.

Personal:
Married to Nancy Shey, and has a son, Jack, who is a sophomore at Washington High School; a daughter Abby, who is a freshman at Washington High School; and a daughter Caroline, who is a fourth grader at Grant Wood Elementary.
