Tellabration! an International Storytelling Event to be held at Ushers Ferry November 21

Cedar Rapids, IA - November 3, 2009 - The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department invites you to participate in an international night of storytelling celebrated around the world on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Ushers Ferry Historic Village, 5925 Seminole Valley Trail NE. From its inception in 1988, Tellabration! has grown to include thousands of people from around the globe celebrating the magic and power of stories in uniting countries and cultures.

Ushers Ferry is excited to become part of the celebration this year for the first time. A variety of stories will be presented - old, new, funny and poignant. Refreshments and conversation will follow the performance. The cost is $8/adult and $3/child (ages 3-14). Pre-registration is available, but not required.
