Meth lab Found

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - October 20, 2009 - The Cedar Rapids Police Department served a search warrant at 1014 Bealer Ct SE for drugs. A working meth lab was discovered. The Special Response Team (SRT) served the warrant at about 7:10 a.m. Due to the chemicals involved, the Cedar Rapids Fire Department Hazmat team was called out. The surrounding homes were not and are not in any danger. Arrested were:

John Beltz, 2-14-71, 1014 Bealer Ct. SE, Possession Precursors and Manufacturing.

Joseph Boots, 6-15-70, 6-15-70, 2420 Otis Rd SE, PCS Meth, Possession Precursors and Manufacturing

Michael Hoover, 12-25-67, 906 Ellis Blvd NW, Possession Drug Paraphernalia

Danial Sill, 3-23-78, PCS- Marijuana, Penalty Enhanced, Possession Drug Paraphernalia

Mabel Franks, 8-27-48, 1014 Bealer Ct. SE, Disorderly House (Signed Promise to Appear)

Tracy Stephens, 9-1-60, 1014 Bealer Ct. SE, PCS- Marijuana, Penalty Enhanced, PCS Meth, Penalty Enhanced, Possession Precursors and Manufacturing

Roy Shelton, 4-4-72, 1635 2 Ave SE #3, PCS Meth, Possession Precursors and Manufacturing

All were taken to LCJ. The investigation continues.

All criminal charges are merely an accusation and the defendants is presumed innocent until and unless they are proven guilt.
