Today the City of Cedar Rapids Parking Division, which is managed by Republic Parking System, opened a temporary downtown office. The new office is located on the third floor of the Berthal Building, 201 1st Avenue SE, across from the Roosevelt Building. The office will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

"Opening this downtown office is part of our effort to provide the efficient, effective and responsive service that we strive for in Cedar Rapids," said City Manager Jim Prosser. "We're confident that Republic Parking System's expertise will help us achieve these important customer service goals."
Republic Parking will be providing the following services in its temporary office:
Monthly parking payments and processing
Parking tickets, payments and appeals
Off street meter hooding
Defective meter notifications
Parkade management
Utilization and occupancy analysis to improve efficiencies
