CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – July 6, 2012 – The Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Department has changed the pool admission fee for infants. Effective July 4, 2012, admission to the city’s pools is free of charge for children under six months of age. The policy of charging for infants was re-evaluated and the Department believes the change will better serve the public and may result in additional family visits to the pools. A swim diaper is required for all infants and toddlers who are not toilet trained.
